Tranquility Hypnosis
......healing through hypnotherapy
After receiving my B.A. degree Psychology from California State University in 1974 I began my career as a counselor at Juvenile Hall in San Francisco, California.
Having earned a Masters of Education, M.Ed., in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland Far East Division in Okinawa, Japan in 1980, I spent my practicum as a counselor at the Mental Health Clinic on Kadena Air Force Base working with Armed Forces personnel and their families.

Relocating to Guam, USA in 1984, I continued my career as a Middle School Guidance Counselor within the Guam Department of Education.

After returning to California in 1987, I became active member of SHARE SUPPORT, a non-profit organization, headquartered in Danville, CA, for parents of children with learning differences, ADD and ADHD. Having led support groups for SHARE and as an active member of the Board of Directors, the 12 years I spent with SHARE were some of the most rewarding of my entire career.

Holding two California Community College Lifetime Credentials, as a psychology instructor and a college counselor, I decided I wanted to resume a career in the area of psychology and/or education.  Having satisfied the requirements of the two-hundred hour course of study in Hypnotherapy as operated under the provisions of the California Education Code Section 94311(d), granted in Lafayette, California and completed two-hundred hours of supervised practicum as operated under the approval of the National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists, I offer my clients a professional, ethical, and moral environment in my private practice to best serve their needs.

As a member of the INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF HYPNOTHERAPY I take my profession seriously, with the ultimate goal of providing my clients only the highest level of integrity in achieving their personal goals.
